Equine Assisted Learning is an exciting therapy which can assist you in your journey of personal development and increasing awareness. Each session is tailored to suit you, the horse and the moment, with unfolding experiential learning as you gently journey into your own experience of life. During the sessions you are supported and guided by the myself and the horse as we co-facilitate the session. Your path towards self realisation and awareness unfolds naturally through being present, grounded and aware.
The horses are a perfect sentient being for us to model, as they are 100% in the moment, physically, mentally and emotionally. By observing the horse, we can gain insight into our own lives and obtain knowledge about living in the moment which we can apply to every aspect of our day to day lives.
Melia is a certified Equine Assisted Learning practitioner, accredited through The Equine Psychotherapy Institute Victoria with Meggin Kirby. The EPI model is a psychotherapy based model, which is based on increasing emotional and somatic awareness.
